É/Exchange is co-sponsored by contributing networks from the Applied Health Research Network Initiative (AHRNI). Established in 2009, the AHRNI is a province-wide network of multi-disciplinary researchers in the field of applied health. The network is dedicated to supporting high-quality applied health research addressing complex issues using a networked approach, to building capacity among researchers, community partners, decision-makers and emerging leaders and to providing evidence-based advice to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care (MOHLTC). AHRNI hosts seven pan-Ontario research networks.
Three of these networks are joining in co-sponsoring É/Exchange : The Population Health Improvement Research Network (PHIRN), Réseau de recherche appliquée sur la santé des francophones de l'Ontario (RRASFO); and the Ontario Health Human Resources Research Network (OHHRRN).
