PHIRN would like to congratulate some of our members on recently awarded funds:
  • Vivian Welch , PHIRN affiliate and her team, received a CIHR knowledge synthesis grant in March 2012 for a project Title: Effects of deworming as part of integrated child health programs in children in low and middle income countries: systematic review.
  • Barry Adam, PHIRN Scientist and his team were awarded a CIHR grant recently for a project titled Trans MSM Sexual Health Study.
  • Linda Garcia,  PHIRN Scientist and her team were awarded a CIHR-Catalyst Grant entitled Dementia and francophone communities in minority situations in Ontario: a retrospective study
  • Maureen Dobbins, PHIRN Scientist and her team have recently been awarded funding from CIHR Knowledge Translation Supplement. Title: Tailored messaging and health-evidence.ca: Delivering public health to decision makers.
