worldthumbnailWe are pleased to provide this update on our activities over the past quarter (or so). We are a little late with our newsletter, largely due to the good news that we are now relocated and consolidated at the Institute of Population Health at the University of Ottawa (address details on back)

We've hosted a very successful 'Building a Healthier Ontario' event held in Toronto at the end of September where we showcased some of the important work undertaken by PHIRN Scientists and Students. At the event, we launched two of our latest research infrastructure tools—the OPHID and the Scoping Review on the Ontario literature on Population Health Equity and Intervention. We have also launched a new Blog through our CHNET-Works! Members, which we are very proud to announce has reached over 10,000 individuals!

In the next few months, we will be building on the Scoping Review to produce an updated, online searchable library of the Ontario population health literature, getting the word about our tools at upcoming conferences, and will be preparing for our year 3 review. I encourage everyone to visit our website and let us know of any suggestions for additional items we could add you would like to see. All comments are welcome!

I look forward to hearing from you all.
