indian-mom-child2Ron Labonte, PHIRN co-lead and his colleague David Sanders will be hosting a symposium on June 16th and 17th at the International Development Research Centre entitled Revitalizing Health for All:

Comprehensive Primary Health Care and the Quest for Health Equity. A symposium featuring New International Research Findings. The 2 day symposium offers participants an opportunity to learn from global CPHC research and, more importantly, to discuss strategies to sustain CPHC globally and within Canada. Interactive ‘goldfish bowl’ sessions will allow researchers, policy-makers and practitioners to examine the policy ‘so what’ and ‘now what’ questions aimed at building momentum for health systems based on principles of fairness, comprehensiveness and attention to both the medical and social determinants of health. For more information please see attached pamphlet.
